There is a new wiki moderation system now which requires new wiki edits to be approved by more established wiki authors and I wanted to take a minute to talk about moderation and edit reverting.
Don't use moderation to block less than perfect edits. If people are trying to make contributions then allow the edit and use normal discussion options to provide constructive feedback. At least allow the edit and then revert it so that the revision is available for others to view and discuss. Use moderation to block vandalism. For more see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extensio ... _practices
If you feel the need to revert another persons edit then be positive and constructive about it. Try to help them learn how to make edits you'd like to see.
