Is there a file named "AGI" in your game directory?

if it is in a winzip file, it will not work. you need to extract it first. then make sure the agi file is in the directory.

If she owns a copy of LSL, then it probably isn't zipped...

Maybe, but I wouldn't use the words "old copy" in this case...

Maybe she copied it from old disks then zipped it in a WinZip.
What do you say to that, Eero

Wouldn't this be a nonsense?
What do you say to that?

download NAGI or Sarien. Use one of those to run the file. The old AGI executable is inferior, anyway, especially on modern machines.

Yeah! Only thing it lacks is sound, when you have no PC speaker that is...

It's worse with PC-speaker. It always gives me a pain in the head (but not painful enough to call it a headache)
The original interpreter really is just fine if it runs on your pc. If it doesn't, or doesn't run well, Nagi'll do the trick just as well (and you must agree that it has some advantages to the original interpreter) I'd just run Nagi when the original interpreter doesn't work though (or the game's packaged with Nagi ;D )
