Hi!

Anyone tried this site before? Series of tests where you have to hack it to get to the next test.

http://www.try2hack.nl/

I've managed to get through the first 7.. the rest will be up later apparently.

Alright I am on test 2... anyone have a good packet sniffer so I can scan where the swf sends the info to?

It's an swf file, I need to either get a swf hacker, or a packet sniffer, depending on how it works.

And no opening it up in notepad won't work here. The password in the second html source is fake to throw you off. :P

Or you could just open up the swf file [... rest removed to try and let other people have a go. :) - Nick ]

That reminds me of me, working with computers at the age of 12 :o

Maybe I should get my child's reasoning back and give this a try.

Try2Hack is too easy... Try HackNULL or HackQuest.

Lv.1 is too easy. Lv. 2 is too easy. Lv. 3 doesn't accept the password that I found :-\

There's a few red herrings when it comes to passwords. It's possible to find them all though.

If Level 3 is that one I remember it is, then go to the first SCRIPT tag... Read that line slowly and carefully. Eventually you figure that out.
