I'm having trouble getting Mozilla to crash with those links. Is it a bug with my browser?

Non IE users will have to crash their monitors manually I'm afraid. Although the first link should work if you enable popups, it's just a flash movie.

Funny thing: the second link is a result of the stupidest bug in IE. It's just a html file with

Code: Select all

<input type crash>

in it.
It even crashes Outlook (Express) if you put in an e-mail.
Three simple words, and MS can't handle it anymore...

Problably this is just a easter egg from Microsoft, so that they easily could put computers to crash...

I generally don't click on url's that have the word "reboot" in them.

I didn't realise Microsoft needed to DELIBERATELY include commands to crash computers, I thought they did that without trying... ::)

They didn't deliberately put in, in fact, if you replace the word crash with any other word, IE will still crash. It's the lack = that makes it crash. The real question is how they got away with this bug for years and years without anybody noticing it.
