I forgot to mention that tomorrow, I'm on my way to LA to demo some games at E3 with my company Mojo Games International. I've been so busy I forgot. So wish me luck... because I hate flying. I'll tell you all about it when I get back on Saturday.

Damn it, going to E3 has always being my biggest d... wait, it hasn't.

Well, I can tell you that I survived, and that our games were well-recieved. Right now, though, I got to go to my other job. I'm making a report on our experience at E3 for our clients, so I'll write up one for M-T while I'm at it.

I was offered tickets to E3, but didn't want to travel all the way back to Cali again (was just there two months ago). Hopefully I'll be going next year. How were you able to get tickets? And tell me more about your company.

We localize South Korean games for the English-speaking market. I got tickets by being in a company that paid a few thousand dollars to ISDA to attend. I spent several days setting up and marketing in a 10 x 10 ' booth to sell my games to the market.

Well, I feel good because I believe my company did good work (simple booth design, live demos of the games, etc), but I didn't get to hang out and look at all the stuff (Not even in my own hall. LACC is broken up into several halls, and there were different exhibits in each hall), because some LA/SanDiego friends that were supposed to assist us copped out. That meant that I didn't get to leave the booth except for eating and peeing. Likewise, I didn't get to see much of LA (I did get to drive on the freeway... everyone complains about driving in LA, but it's not much different than driving the Dan Ryan in Chicago... which means that everyone is a wimp ). I did get to eat three nights straight at Jin Ju BBQ, a Korean restaurant. Now, if y'all haven't been to a Korean BBQ (We have an excellent one here in Chicago called Cho Son Ok), it's like this: In the center of the table is a grille with gas fire and charcoal. The server brings you a giant plate of raw meat. You put the meat on the grille and start cooking. In addition, she brings you about a hundred bowls of bean sprouts, kim-chi, sesame oil and salt, onions with peppers in soy sauce, bean-chili paste, etc. You throw some whole garlic cloves on there and roast them, mmmmm. When the meat is cooked, you either set it aside or grab it right off the fire with your chopsticks.

That's good eating.

Usually I have Coca-Cola or barley tea with my BBQ, but all they had was Korean beer and soju (pronounced sho-chu) which is Korean cold sake. We were dining with our main client, and he bought us much beer and soju. MMMMMmmmmm.....

So, I pretty much slept as soon as we got back to the hotel, gorged on BBQ beef, chicken, kalbi (pork ribs?), and octopus (bland).
