I just got all the things i need to install it but when i enter in all the passwords and crap it starts to load...then it just loads and loads and loads till my computer says it dosent have enough virtual memory to run it. So where do you do this and after you put in all the passwords and crap...how long is it supposed to take????

3) Upload these 2 files: install.php in ASCII mode and yse150.ya in BINARY to that directory.
What is ASCII and Binary modes? How can i change those to be right???

Any good FTP program should let you choose which mode to upload a file in. Try SmartFTP:

Why would IE go unresponsive? Must be a server problem...

1.5.0 is unstable, on the download page at yabbse.org they said it is experimental and only download it for testing not for a site, instead you should use 1.4.1

He said 1.5.1...
But because of the silly stuff 1.5.1 will have...I may not upgrade or I may go to phpBB.

1.5.1 hasn't been released yet. ::)
And what do you mean silly stuff? 1.5.0/1.5.1 is a speed and optimzation fix to make the board faster and work better, it doesn't add features and if it does it was only features that everyone agreed on such as being able to use SMTP mail instead of sendmail(this fixeds problems with windows machines).

The logging unread messages thing....I don't like that...

It doesn't log unread messages, it logs read messages there is a difference, and that isn't a new feature either, it has existed in all versions of YaBBSE.
Trust me, this logging read messages is better than the way phpBB does it. If you use phpBB and delete your cookies, it automatically sets all messages as having been unread.
