If you have two dialup modems, and have two phone lines, you can connect to your ISP at 56k * 2, or 112kbs WITH JUST DIALUP! Because of bad phone lines, I can only connect at 71kbs...but thats ALOT Better than my regular 28kbs!
If you would like instuctions on how to do this, with XP or .NET server, please ask me here....

If you have an idea how to speed up my videotron modem-cable service then tell me...otherwise no...I do have two phone lines and two modems(actually 3), but I don't have a dial-up service anymore.

Well, what OS are you using? Do you have two cable modem lines or whatever you use for cable? And, ask your ISP if they support Multilink cable and the extra cost for it.

No only one cable line. Cable is different. I would need two ethernet cards for such a thing and I'm not sure I could link them. That means I need to order another one from the provider and I'm not sure they would allow me.

Why two ethernet cards? Why not just one router?
