I think we need one more board. we need a gaming board where we can talk about games and stuff other than agi and sci. its just a thought. let me know what you think.

It would be great. Then we wouldn't have to post those in the Off-Topic board.

I am going to go with no because too many boards tend to confuse people, I think everything is fine and perfect as is.

Ultimately, it's going to be df's decision anyway. I say no cause we have this handy off-topic section for stuff like that.

well this is my favorite board, i visit this one regulary and visit it a lot. i just thought it might help. i dont see how it would be confusing. this general board should be for talking about things going on near you, what you do in your spare time, etc.

it was just a thought.

Berserk, if you where registerd, you could vote on the poll, and people could IM you...

I don't think it's gonna attract much people...already we're only about a dozen people if not more typing stuff at any one time on this board and we talk a lot about games already on this board.

what the hell are you talking about sgreenslade. there are over 300 users here!!! not all of them go on though. some people just visit once in a while. if we wanted more people to come, a gaming board would be nice, cause maybe people like to to about games, instead of making them. like i said, the general board should be for things like sports you like, or what you do in your spare time before programming.

mods, just a suggestion, maybe you should put this as a sticky topic. then more people will see this and will get to vote. then df will be able to make his decision easier. plus he'll see this topic.

also, i think some people voted more than once. only 8 people posted here, but count 7 cause berserk wouldnt be able to vote cause he's not registered. so i think its kinda dumb for someone to vote but not explain why they said that. for some other polls that would be fine, but this would help share ideas on this idea.

plus i dont really think we need to discourage people and say this is a horrible idea. i dont really think its that bad of an idea, so stop being an @$$ berserk.

i know really. no offense, but some people here, really think the board will die by adding another board. when i suggested the programming board, df hesitated. i dont see why. its not going to hurt anything or anyone. its no big deal adding another board.
