Finally, an explanation!

I was always curious about how it was possible for characters in adventure games to carry all of that crap. Now, I know http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2002/11/ ... 76940.html

Why does he end up sleeping in odd places? And if he has a blow-up mattress, why does he need to brush the dust off with a paintbrush? This article just leaves me with more questions.

What, night vision? That's just when it's dark, you're able to see (not as good as when it's light). You'll lose it for a while when you got some light shining in your face when it's dark. Night vision doesn't cost a thing. Just don't look into a light at night and it works fine.

Say...Doesn't night vision goggles simply amplify ambient light? I know someone would burn their retinas if they used it in the daytime but it's not that bad at night is it? Even with artificial light?
