Dead HD

my HD died last night... got a new 80gb but will take a few days to install everything all over again and mirror my oline site.. its a PITA losing all my source code...
sigh...
another boring win2k+fbsd install all over again.

Sorry to hear that! You have bad luck with your hard drives don't you?
Same think happened to me a few years back. I lost most of my SCI script assembler code, along with my AGI2SCI picture converter, SCI font tool, and more. My problem was that even though I backed most of it up, the backup disk got corrupted!

I know what do you feel, DF.
My hard drive was crashed in the last march.
Fortunely, I made back-up for Naturette 2 and Serguei's destiny 2.
Too bad. I forget to make back up for Naturette SCI and few unfinished agimouse games.
Don't worry about Naturette SCI. I made only 2 or three backgrounds.
Whit the newest version of sci studio, Naturette SCI should be as good as Naturette 1 and 2.

I lost my old hd on my Tandy 1000, lightning struck the phone lines and my computer was plugged into the phone jack for prodigy, my hard drive was blown. Well I never did get another hard drive for it and I never did fix it... but I went out and got a laptop(I was way behind with my computer... this happened a little while after SQ5 was released
) Some people where shocked that I had such an old computer when CD rom drives and other such things existed in stores.
Well now I have a good compute(3rd one I ever owned). And most importantly a surge protector.
