Happy new year!

2015 was probably the worst year for me, while 2013 and '14 being the best. I didn't learn anything significant. I didn't work on my projects much. I made a really horrible mistake. I suffered from constant depression. I hope, 2016 would be better.

On the other hand, I got to improve my grammar a little bit, read a useful book, get good grades in school, etc.

2015... well...
  • I went blind
  • I got back into programming, and especially osdev, after a complete burnout mid-2014
  • I got a new computer :-)
  • I started going to college
  • I found a way to communicate with my mother that avoids excessive anxiety
Better than 2014, I guess.

Happy New Year! :D
I've achieved quite a lot in 2015...
  • learned a lot about x86 and working on a 32-bit OS (ExDOS)
  • still learning about x86_64 and working on a 64-bit OS (ExDOS64)
  • learned a lot of social skills on my own
  • learned how to manage my money, and I now spend without wasting
  • improved my grades in maths, science and social studies
Much better than 2013 and 2014. Hopefully, 2016 will be even better for all of us!

  • Managed to get to the Moscow Programmer School at Yandex (a Russian software company).
  • Collected a bunch of stickers for my laptop.
  • Ordered a Raspberry Pi and an Adafruit's USB-TTL cable.
Happy New Year!

I was going to be the first to make a New Year post

Would I be mistaken to assume that you, like me, have Asperger's/Autism? My successes with social skills this year have been rather limited (although better than previous years, nevertheless - probably about the one good thing about going to college).

What kind of stickers?

I am officially immune to small font sizes :-D .

Something to add to my own list:
  • I realised that I have tastes in music besides what my mother listens to

To me, 2015 was a good year:
  • I finished high school after a quite long track
  • I finished 7th place in the Dutch national computer science olympiad and 10th in the Dutch biology olympiad
  • I started college at Leiden University ( Physics + Astronomy (double BSc) )
  • I moved out from my parents
  • I saw some great bands
  • Nothing terrible happened :)
Happy new year my fellow OSdevvers! ( Even though in my timezone it is only 10.40 PM at the time of posting )

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand your question. Should I post a picture or you would be more comfortable with a description (sorry, I'm not sure about your blindness degree)?

You could always increase browser's font size and/or use a speech synthesizer.

A description, please. Like are they software/hardware/Linux stickers, or just random stuff? By "collect" do you mean that you bought them or just acquired them like from friends, magazines, etc.?

I think you misunderstood me: what I'm saying is that using a small font size will not hide anything from me because I use a screenreader (speech synthesiser). But I know that it was a small font size from when I was editing the quote to extract the other bit, and I "saw" (heard) the size tags.

My bad. I thought you were saying that you couldn't see small font.

No. I've always been very social.

Do neurotypicals learn social skills too?
