Hello all,
As i have heard on some dell models, insperon for example, contain bad capacitors. This is discovered by noticing bulging tops and softness (they are squeezeable) has been said that they are bad, and is caused by heat, but as usually they get hot, but the point is, they arent suppose to buldge. Further usage of the capacitors can explode spreading acid all over the hardware of your computer and damaging the components. this is from what ive heard.
These capacitors are located on the Motherboard, if you have a dell computer, check it.
This is from what ive heard. I own a couple dell computers and main and test beds all are fine for me.

Re: Dell Capacitors
That's a known thing on many brands of mainboards and computers:

Somebody copied a capacitor electrolyte formula with a typo and put that into production. The typo causes it to release hydrogen, which is both flammable and causes pressure, causing the electrolyte (an acid) itself to be sprayed across the mainboard.

Re: Dell Capacitors
Thank you for the information, as for the commonality, i heard that it was in alot of dell computers, a material used for creating the capacitors, so when they get very hot, they expand, getting bigger, then burst. I dont think they are suppose to do that...
