There always seems to be a lot of Dutch people here.
I'm looking for a book on Dutch History (Or as to say the history of the low lands, the Netherlands, etc. - the place - not the language.
) specifically focusing on the 16th and 17th centuries. Anyone read anything? (In English please.) I mean, I can find dozens of books on Dutch history, but as I've no knowledge of the area at all, I thought I'd ask to see if there's some sort of definitive work in the area.
