Lol, many "getting-to-know-you-guys"-ish posts from me lately... Anywho, what hobbies other than computer programming have you? For instance I enjoy reading, drawing pencil portraits and playing my guitar (mostly classical and rock).
Here's a portrait of a friend I did 2 years ago (the only one I ever scanned - and it's not even scanned as I was to lazy to install the drivers, I took a photo of the paper
). Note that it was my second portrait ever and now I am a lot better than I was back then... although I haven't had any formal training...

I play guitar, I work on my old pinball machine (EM baby!) and I do really stupid stuff with my friends.
I cannot draw to save my life.

Why don't you go down the memberlist and select "profile" - its all there
Edit: except in your case (how predictable...
)

True, but I'm prepearing to show off with the drawing skills I've earned in the last two years
But seriously, I was thinking maybe someone would talk a little about their more unusual hobbies or something.

Let me start, then
I go kayakking, generally on local rivers. I'm afraid it doesn't happen too much at the moment because of other commitments. I also do a lot of walking / cycling - there's a lot of nice countryside around here. We moved house 18 months ago and a lot of time since then has also been spent doing small DIY stuff in the house and practically landscaping the garden.
Musically, I play the piano and violin, but only have an electric keyboard instead of a piano, and it's nowhere near as nice to play as a grand
. I listen to a lot of different types of music from baroque to rock
. Then, of course, there's computers...
Cheers,
Adam

I paint, draw, and otherwise study art. (Although only on a personal level.) I also love painting outside, en plein air, as it is. There is little better than to be out in a Mountain Range somewhere, sitting, and painting the view with watercolors.
I love tea, and actively seek out different varieties of the stuff.
I also like mathematics and languages, although those two interests fall to the wayside when I've no time. (Sadly, if I had more time.)
I've tried my hand at cheese making, as well. Although, that went...less than favorably....I plan on trying again in a few months.

- I spend most spare of my time chatting on IRC (I met my current girlfriend via IRC, and I'm travelling to the other side of the world next month to meet her).
- I've also recently developed a habit of buying second-hand Cisco networking equipment off eBay and setting up overly complex networks in my house.
- Occasionally I go bushwalking or cycling; I never seem to have enough time where I can just put everything else aside and go do it.
- I always say I love to write... but finding the time to do so is hard. I've just quit my job, so in about a week's time I should have a lot more time (hopefully) to do things like that.

I'm not judging or anything but I'm not sure how this sort of stuff works.

I've got a fully loaded Catalyst 5005 sitting in my basement... 84 ports, latest CatOS that'll run on the thing. I'll give it to you for free if you just pay the shipping from the middle of the US.

Love4, that's a really high quality picture. If only I could draw that well...
My hobbies are a bit unusual (and diverse):
- Flight simulation (with a mob called VATSIM, I provide air traffic control and fly as a pilot)
- Gaming (TF2, HL2 DM, Synergy, OpenTTD, etc...)
- Tinkering with electronics (when I can)
- Reading law fiction
- Cricket (the sport) <3
- Cooking (anything unusual, risottos are the best thing to cook in my opinion )
- Foruming (for lack of a better word)
Yep. There's probably more, but I can't think of them right now.
