Hi, my usual account with the name 'Kieran' has stopped working.
I have seen the post woth regards to account pruning, if this is the case
regarding this account, what can I do?

Regards,
Kieran Foot

Well, if it's been pruned, there's nothing you can do. Only recreate it again.

I feel like we have a mechanism to retrieve your password by sending it to the internal mail address that is registered to the account, but I can not say for absolute certainty.

Only accounts with zero posts that hadn't be used for years were pruned.

There is.

Do you still have the email account kieran.foot AT intvas.org ? If so you can reset your password yourself.

No I havent, Intvas has been shut down so that e-mail account no longer exists.

However, this is not my main problem. I have not changed the password for the afore mentioned account...

The main problem is the email address. If a current email address isn't maintained for an account it's difficult for me to know if you are in fact the person that owns the account in question. Anyone can say that their password doesn't work and the email address isn't valid anymore.

Some of the passwords couldn't be migrated during the forum upgrade so it's not totally your fault but keeping a current email address is important. I updated the email address on your old account. Let me know if you still have problems getting in to the account.

Thanks for your help chase.

From now on I will keep my E-Mail address updated.

I still don't see how my password came to be something other than it should have been, but hey, all sorted.

Thanks once again,
Kieran Foot
