Category: Device Management Under OS Theory

Post by Kevin McGuire »

Is including a category "Device Management" under "OS Theory" a good idea or is there some other equivalent category for things of this nature.

The reason is I was writing a tutorial for "Quick And Dirty Device Management" and become confused as to where it could be placed.

Also the talk page too messy, and I did not know where to insert what I wanted in there. Maybe the contents of the talk page for the main page should be in a actual temporary article to leave room for immediate discussion? ](*,)

Hi,

Theory seems the most logical place to me - I guess it could have gone under hardware (just), but I vote for OS Theory!

Thanks for this topci by the way - am starting to write a device manager myself and this article will really help.

Theory would be the right place IMO - as it deals with how things are/might be done instead of providing hardware-specific information (which is what the hardware category is for)
