0001: Let's say I have an original program [LICENSED].
0002: I also have a friend.
0003: My friend might like this program too.
0004: The program license says : "your are allowed to install this program on a single computer'
0005: My friend is a bit poor [ye is a student, ain't got a job, his/her parents are poor].
0006: I don't have money now for a gift.
0007: I decide to share the program with my friend since the company that made it wont be hurt ! [actually no pain at all ! no money loss, since my friend can't affort to buy a license]
0008: if SOPA=enabled and PIPA=enabled then
0009: in this case there are several options for me
0010: A: i must give my friend the license if I care about ye... My friend will absolved of any guilt ... but my copy of the program will be illegal
0011: B: i keep the license => I'm dis-obeying the license and I'm putting my friend in a "uncomfortable" situation.. which might result in me looseing my friend ... or at least makeing him upset on me ... => i'll become an unsocial-able person who tried to help his friend yet loosing him/her ....
0012: C: i'll just give my friend an open-source, free, program similar to the one i have and that's it ...
0013: else if (sopa OR pipa)=disabled then
0014: I'll give my friend a copy ... no-one will know about it
0015: maybe in the future when my friend gets a job ye will buy a license ... too [or maybe not]
0016: END IF
0016: if I have plenty of money like all the {senators, presidents, bosses, gates, etc} have then I will not care about it because :
" I can buy anything I want [who gives a damn about all other NON-ARIAN people, about all other NON-SUPER-HUMAN people, about all other NON-COMUNIST people, about all other NON-MASON ..... they are supposed to work like slaves....
AND we, the rich ones, we will even deny their right to watch a movie even that's not goingl not hurt our fucking $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$"

Any suggestions, bug reports about this program ?

Aside from being completely beside the point, because software licensing isn't what SOPA / PIPA is about...

In good ol' BASIC, the last line overrides the previous one, because it has the same line number.

Doesn't 0008 fail already because "8" isn't a valid octal digit?

Dunno if people have heard, but according to the Guardian, the White House is against both of these bills! (http://apps.facebook.com/theguardian/te ... news.reads)

Then who wanted these laws to go into affect ?
Of course it was some government officials with a lot of big business CEO's and worthless lawyers.

The laws are for **** they should go die if anybody even had the thought going thru their mind

People who disagree with you on an issue (a non-life threatening one at that) should die? That's a bit harsh.

(I agree that SOPA was a stupid idea, and I'm glad that it's gone, I just think death is a bit strong here.)

SOPA's not gone, just delayed until next month.

Standard tactic of politicians / lobbyists if their plans get public flak. Let it rest for a while, then retry, in hopes that the public opinion either doesn't notice, or that the opposing effort wears off after a while.

I remember how they tried this here in Europe with software patents. They still haven't buried that one.

Or, to quote my favourite Harry Potter character:

"Constant vigilance!"

Not in good ol' BASIC. Decimal only!
