@JamesM: What you have IS a community project, and a successful one at that. But just because the members come from OSDev.org doesn't make it THE OSDev.org community OS (which I think is the one being discussed). Your project members are all experienced OS development programmers; the members that make up this forum are a mix of the experienced, the learning, the newbies, and the n00bs. This means the closest successful community project OSDev.org will ever have is the one created and managed only by specific experienced members, therefore preventing it from being THE community OS, and making it a separate project all its own.
