My game started off with a short, simple plot. But then I wanted to expand it, so the plot has had to grow from there... now I have all sorts of random puzzles and bits of story that I need to cobble together into some sort of cohesive-ness. What a mess I have made! I think.

I've been mainly looking to nature for inspiration, since my game takes place almost all outdoors. So I try to imagine natural phenomena, and how they could help solve or create puzzles.

Maybe I'll look to my dreams for inspiration. I'm not sure what benefit I can get from lucid dreaming or hypnagogic states though... fun to play around with. I was semi-successful at inducing lucid dreams a few years back, but now I only have them rarely. Fun stuff though....

No doubts about that. Only the other night I visualised a very odd looking tree with bolbous protrusions - has given me inspiration for an alien type landscape.
