Do you think we need a gaming board?
Re:Do you think we need a gaming board?
I develop. I create. I don't waste time with things that are not constructive. I spend my time learning and building.
Re:Do you think we need a gaming board?
You're right, games are not constructive (in most cases ), but I wouldn't consider them a waste of time though. You do gain some skills from some games (constructive games like where you build up a city), but they are also very good for relaxing. I often play games just to relax, because for me it is a good contrast to school-/homework.
Re:Do you think we need a gaming board?
so df, have you seen this thread yet? do you have an answer to it? I really dont care, i just wanted to make sure you saw it.
Re:Do you think we need a gaming board?
I am pretty sure he saw it, but I am guessing there wasn't a reason to answer. I seriously doubt that he will put in another board since alot of us voted no.

Sorry Joey, but I'd have to agree with the Gundam. This's something you'd know if you'd learn economics. You can hire people and keep on hiring people and work'll go more efficient, but once you've reached a certain number, work'll go down again.
E.g.: You can do the dishes alone. It'll go really slow.
If you do the dishes with one person, one can wash and one can dry. Things'll go much faster then.
If you do it with three persons, things'll go even faster.
When there're ten people doing the dishes, there'll be lots of broken plates, it'll go much slower, 'cause people can't reach the washed dishes and everybody's in each other's way.
The same thing counts for the amount of boards. If you have not enough different boards, the few posts'll get overcrowded and will not be easy to look through. When there're too many boards, every board'll have a couple of topics, but wouldn't have enough to be called efficient. People'd have a hard time finding what they're looking for too.
This board has found its balance. IMHO, the off-topic board isn't overcrowded by posts about games, so there's no need for and it'll be actually better without an extra general games-board.
