I'd hate to disappoint, but IMHO a car is a poorly designed tool for getting people from one place to another. Note: By "poorly designed" I mean it shouldn't take 900 Kg of metal and assorted crud to shift a few 100 Kg loads, and parts should be interchangeable between manufacturers/models.

Sure - more likely to see the underglow, and therefore less likely to see the brake lights.
To save time, why not squash the car into a small cube of metal, melt it down and make fencing materials out of it? You know that's what will happen to it sooner or later anyway...
