This tells me that you actually dont know programming.

If you are ready to make the effort of learning programming, then go for it.

If not, then leave OS development now until you are ready. OS development is a constant learning experience. If you are not willing to learn anything new, you will not be able to develop anything close to a small OS.

This is my last advice to you if you do decide to ignore this (and others advice) in starting small. Good luck to whatever you decide.

Fork bombs are little programs that fork (multiply in memory) infinitely until your computer crashes. No harm is done, it's mostly just a party prank.

For the record, one moderator locked 2 of Cotton's previous topics, I locked a third topic and PM'd a warning saying I'd ban him unless he learnt. A different moderator locked Cotton's fourth topic and gave the temporary ban without even knowing I was about to do the same. It seems everyone's opinion is the same...

Now I've given permanent bans - I don't appreciate people attempting to avoid temporary bans.
