Don't bother, it is fugly and it renders things wrong like the file open control, you can't even see it. from a web dev point of view it sucks, I hope it just goes away because I do not plan to support it ever. I think the quirks of IE is bad enough, we certainly do not need another f-ed up browser to code for.

OT: I like it. It's lightweight and freaking fast. The tab handling is great(tearoff is pretty useful when you get alot of tabs). I haven't seen it render any page wrong yet

I certainly hope a few things will be fixed before it get's released for real. Like smooth scrolling, scrolling when you click the middle button. And more settings

I'm pretty excited about the addition of another decent browser. If it makes the adoption of HTML 5 go any faster, along with the possibility of embeddable ogg\theora files straight through the browser, then godspeed!

I agree with Alboin, it's something we really need in the industry, a consistent audio/video content/interface.

As for OT, Don't think it will succeed, simply because 9/10 people don't know how to use their computer (work with them everyday (business clients of mine (I am a software development contractor))), and because of this, people are still going to eat what ever crap Microsoft puts out, and it will always be like that (mainly because of vendors, answer me this, can you go down to your local IT place and get a computer with out windows off of the shelf? (I definitely can't), netbooks are not what I'm talking about (PCs, or laptops, like the one your using)). the other 10 % install Firefox (or installs some other browser).

For the industry to change the way we surf the internet, vendors need to wake up (/me trying swear) and smell the coffee (and get they head out the ***es of the Microsoft employees), and actually allow innervation to happen (we still are on an OS that is 6 years old (can't count vista as an OS, no one won't it, not even the 9/10 people who don't know what they are doing, and the people who want it are just zombies). My point is we have to live with what crap Microsoft puts out (and yes Silverlight(which is why I agree with Alboin)), and no browser can stop that. We live in a Microsoft world.

I think the quirks of IE is bad enough, we certainly do not need another f-ed up browser to code for.

It's written using WebKit, the same kit that powers Safari and Konqueror (WebKit was forked from KHTML), so firstly it's standards compliant, and secondly the rendering engine is no different to other browsers out there.

So yes, a citation is needed!

Why do we need another browser? Firefox works fine; IE7 works fine; hell, even IE6 and before worked fine. The internet is fine as it is, we don't need any more innovation.

Also before ten people quote where I've mentioned IE and yell BUT SECURITY FLAWS, I could really care less about security honestly.
