Maybe you didn't pay much too attention. You are actually able to release your binaries and keep your source code until you consider you have earned enough (that can be anytime you decide, even never, but...). In that way you may eventually earn what you deserve by your work and fairly give something out when it's fair to do so.Kevin McGuire wrote:Ok. I agree with you solar. I have always felt it was a time to go alone and a time to join the majority. So if everyone feels the same as Solar then it is fine with me. I have no problem, and those articles are really not that great anyhow so it is not like a lost anything. =)
You don't lose anything, you can even give out lower-quality sources and if you like you can keep the highest-quality technology for yourself without nobody knowing that...

Summarizing:
All new contributions will be public domain.
All existing contributions are assumed to be public domain based on common sense. (with disclaimer)
Several authors have confirmed their work to be in the public domain (with list)
Can this be inserted into the wiki or are there any objections to this?
