Which is the best sounding car on earth.

Post by devc1 »

Let's get away from OSes and talk about a completely different topic,
I would like that each one of us shares his opinion about the best sounding car on earth, and if he did actually hear it in real life.

For me I would choose every version of the Lamborghini Huracan, especially the LP610 and Performante. The Aventador is also good but I don't think that it sounds more gorgeous than the huracan. However the Audi R8 is a clone of their V10 but sounds weaker. The Huracan sounds actually gorgeous.

2007 Renault F1 car playing the French national anthem. As witnessed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Or a 1990s Ferrari F1 turbo at full song going up the hill about 10 feet away.

I don't like the sound of ferraries for one reason, the gears seem so close which gives the car a fixed loud sound. For example in a lambo, the gearbox is variated and makes it play something like music.
You should look into lambos espacially the lambo huracan : )

I like the sound of electric cars, because they hardly make any sound at all. I can't wait for the all-electric future.

I don't know if not making sound is a good thing or a bad thing! I mean, it would make living in a busy neighborhood more bearable, but still it would take something I like out of cars.

On a different note, I personally think electrics are cool, but I can't wait to see more fuel cell cars come out in greater numbers. Unfortunately here in the US you have to live in California to find fuel cell cars.... I wait patiently for the day the fuel cell Toyota Mirai comes over here to the East cost.

I'm not too keen on car engine sounds, but when I'm driving hard, I want to hear my own car's engine.

I like some truck engine sounds on a "feel that base" level. 8) I couldn't tell you which trucks; I only really know them from Mini Trucker, and that only on the rare occasions I use my headphones with my tablet.
