Martial Arts
Re:Martial Arts
Hey, learned that one by looking at all the stances at this site, although I put most pressure on my back leg (feels more comfortable and steady) It's actually better for making powerful punches than you'd think (if you have strong legs, that is) Just push the back leg to give your punch a rocket boost (and advance a little in the same time)
Btw: those stances on that site, I really don't get them. At one point, the guy looks as if he's immitating a rabbit. It's good if you have a basic idea of stance (made one when I was using tent poles to practice swordfighting as a kid) and further it.
What also seems to be pretty useful in the beginning of a fight, is constantly switching weight on the legs. Weight on back leg, weight on front leg, weight on back leg, etc. It's good if you don't know wether to be offensive or defensive.
