NEW METALLICA CD OUT!!! WOOO!!!! I downloaded some of the songs on that cd, and holy ****, i love them! anyone else heard some songs from the new cd? im definetely buying the cd. actually, ill ask for it as a graduation present. i highly recommend downloading the song Frantic (Live from MTV ICON). IT KICKS @$$!!!

My girl bought it and we listened to it in my new car! Woo hoo! 
It's a lot heavier than Load/Reload, almost like a fusion of the Speed/Thrash of old school Metallica with the complexity of new Metallica.
I just can't get over how freakin' [glow=green,2,300]FAST[/glow] it is.. holy sheisse...
But.. as much as I love Metallica, being the gods of rock they are, I think I like the Godsmack cd better.. but you can bet I didn't tell my girl that! ;D

anyway, im starting to get into screaming music! since in that new metallica cd they scream a lot, im starting to like it. i hated it before, but i just like the way they play and the screaming is pretty cool.
im not sure if this song is on the new cd, but the song shoot me again kicks @$$! especially since its toward the people who lost their lives on 9/11, the most tragic day imo.

Hey maybe you do not want to hear but I want to tell my ideas about St. Anger. First of all this album is just crab. When I first heard about that they are really fast on this album I thought it would be like master of puppets(MUP) of Ride the lightining. All the songs are just mind f***ing loud noise only good thing about album is that oldening vocals of Jamez had given some alternative rock sound.
Songs on average: Frantic, Invisible kid, Shoot me again(???). Anyway, other than that NO GUITAR SOLOS???? Songs are more than 5.5 minutes and you just listen to this mind f***ing rythms. BTW although rythms are fast they are very simple (NO WAY MAN!!!) but some good riffs are still there.
Drums: Lots of crash, little or no splash, vocals are suppressed by heavy crash (LOTS OF NOISE!!!)... BTW I could not here good double cross tricks... ONly in some heavy metal rythms.
KIrk: NO SOLOS, NO KIrk!!!
ROBert Trujillo: Cool guy... Does not sound a lot...
Jamez: Sounds better than most pop singers
