It was acting very odd, I had never had problems with logging in before.
Well there is 1 new difference now, I see you set yourself as a global moderator.

Re:yabbse 151
yeah i thought i might as well try while i was in the admin...
i cant forsee an upgrade to 151 at all now...
i might even change my host.. so might either change my hosting package (they wont upgrade my php version or anything...) or change to a new host...
changing hosts always costs a lot tho submitting dns changes. blagh.

Re:yabbse 151
I will install a copy of 1.5.1 on my localhost and see if I can reproduce the cookie bugs, if I can, I will try and figure out what causes them and how to fix them.
Havn't tried 1.5.1 out since like beta 45 or so(before the final release).
What version of php is your host using?

Re:yabbse 151
4.0.6 which is why i think its a php problem with sessions...
my host wont upgrade to any other version... so i'm kinda stuck....

Re:yabbse 151
Yeah sessions could possibly be the problem with that old of a version of PHP.
Infact... if you read the requirements of YaBBSE(all versions not just 1.5.1) it says 4.1.0 is the PHP requirement which might be your problem.
CBB requires 4.1.0 as well.

Re:yabbse 151

Re:yabbse 151
Well the only reason it needs 4.1.0 in the older versions was because of specefic sections in the admin center.
I doubt you noticed the problem yourself, since I doubt you mess around with the boards that often.
It's an array command that is in Admin.php that was made in 4.1.0 it could be rewrote to work with an older version of php... although I doubt anyone will rewrite it since focus will go to YaBBSE2 now.
This is like the 3rd time I have said that the focus will come to YaBBSE2... each version that comes out I say that... and yet we find more bugs. ::)

Re:yabbse 151
i dont remember. i pay either.. each 4 or 6 months or something. its auto on my visa. because i pay in blocks, its lower than per month...
i have to look it up..
id rather just change my account with my current host and have them deal with it all (then i dont have to work DNS changes etc, change change what box i'm on)
