cant check my messages

df, there is a mod for YaBBSE that limits how many messages a user can have in their inbox/outbox. I would suggest trying it out as it might help make things faster.

Also sooner or later I would upgrade to 1.5.1, 1.5.1 is not only EXTREMLY faster than 1.4.1, but it adds alot more security to the board to protect it.

Anyway, I would really recommend the upgrade since things are starting to get slow... it will speed it up majorly.

Then it won't affect you.

But, this mod should make the board faster because it would mean less rows for the query to have to search through.

well, they only JUST released 1.5.1 today (5th apr)... i'm not rushing into anything yet..

depends on how the upgrade goes, since i added my own indexing to tables... i think upgrading is gonna barf errors...

OMG!! they released 1.5.1!!!

chris, what do you know about the stability of this? i remember there were problems with 1.5.0....but i already have 1.5.1 RC45...so should i be alright?

1.5.1 is considered to be the most stable, most secure, and non buggy version of YaBBSE available. As well as faster.
