Mod Suggestion

Post by smartguy240 »

Hello...i guess i should be asking this to df but ill make it general so chris can make his input too ;)

Is it possible to add the ignore topic mod? There are all kinds of topics that i could really care less about and it seems like it would be a good idea...would this be possible?

i dont know what version you are running on buim sure there is a mod for it!

Thx!

I NEVER use that mod myself even on boards I visit that have it installed.

So it doesn't matter to me if it gets installed or not.

Well...i just was wondering...i saw it at YaBBSE.org...and i thought that it looked like something that would belong here. I see so many threads that appear as new...and if i dont like them...or they get TOO spammy for me it would be evermost convienent to just more or less block them...for instance all those MAC threads that (no offense) have no literal meaning or value to me...im sure someone out there would agree wiith me...or maybe one of those Complete Thread mods...where when a thread is complete...people wouldnt post there anymore.

Just suggestions though

Well I got lock topics, sticky topics, delete topics, delete posts done on CBB last night. I plan to do move topics today. Then all that is left is to finish the admin center(yes I already started it :)) and readd profiles to the CBB2 remake.

As you can see it is getting more and more complete by the day. :)

df, I do recommend updating to 1.5.1 sooner or later, it has alot of security fixes that without them it makes the board less secure. I know you alread fixed the pacman bug but there where others fixed in 1.5.1 as well.

Plus 1.5.1 is optimized for speed, so you will notice a major difference in speed compared to 1.4.1.

Pat, even on this board, every topic has the potential of getting "spammy". You wouldn't be seeing anything on this board.
