Gulf War 2 (aka World War 2.5)

Here's a plausible prediction of things to come:

It's an old link, so you might have seen it already, I just rediscoverd it in my bookmarks.
A couple of [glow=red,2,300]WARNINGS[/glow] before you click the link:
  • It takes some time to sit through the entire show, so make sure you have that time.
  • There's this strange side effect: you might feel the urge to recover your old Civilisations 2 cd.

Yes BuzleScut, it really is like Civ2. And it was worth watching.

I know it's kinda morbid of me for thinking this, but I wonder how closely to that scenario things will turn out...

I suspect there's an awful lot of people praying for a peaceful conclusion.. myself included.

Well, the politicians depicted as advisor alerts in that movie will actually attempt to look smart. As far as I know, that may be the only difference.

Ahh... politics... stupid George W. and his personal agenda... the collapse of America could come from this internally.

What personal agenda?

Yeah, maybe it's slightly personal. But I don't know. The Bush Administration know what they're doing. They're preventing a potential economical collapse of the US, if it doesn't work and other countries switch to trading for oil in euros, then America will have more debt on its hands than it knows what to do with.
That will effect everyone the world over, even me, way down here in Australia. Even Japan, Britain, ESPECIALLY Europe which would benefit from the EU increasing in value.
Who knows?
Before I thought it was a validated cause, but the collapse of a superpowers economy sort of makes me nervous. Hehe. :-\
