Re:Adventures
Grim Fandango! While the puzzles are a bit iffy in some places (I accidentally beat some, and others, I successfully solved only by trying the same solution repeatedly.). However, it had a great cinematic graphical style (3D like in Resident Evil), full voice acting, and one of the best original soundtracks. As I said once before, it was more like playing a movie. I laughed out loud and I cried out loud.
Re:Adventures
I agree with Andrew.
Grim Fandango was my favourite adventure game as well.

Re:Adventures
no, not really kill him
on c64 my favourite adventures were:
bards tale 1 - 3, maniac mansion 1, pirates and co.
other games, I 've played often: clystron (watch out for thomas deterts sound track, this one is d(a)mn cool - and no, i won't hand out this A to get back a * :p), turrican I,II (there must be a third one but i never got it), giana sisters (chris h?lsbeck's sound is cooooool)
on ix86 I currently stick with final fantasy VIII when I am not lurking in the deep secrets of process management.

Re:Adventures
hmm...I don't like adventure games much (because I suck at them). But Larry is cool.
Re:Adventures
Adventures are the best! And if you suck in them, use walkthrus... Then you really suck... ;D But yeah, Larry is cool...
Re:Adventures
Don't kill me yet! I was just gonna ressurect the first 50 threads in this messageboard...
Re:Adventures
Of course we want to resurrect those old topics like "New board is up", "London and firebombings" and "New job and a lousy week"... ;D
Re:Adventures
I'm suprized no one has mentioned the legend of zelda. More specificaly OoT. OoT is probably the best game I have ever played.
Re:Adventures
I haven't played that one. I even haven't heard of that one, but then again: "I DON'T KNOW A LOT OF GAMES".
