Something to keep the "Dying" forum busy...

All off topic discussions go here. Everything from the funny thing your cat did to your favorite tv shows. Non-programming computer questions are ok too.

What's the big deal if this particular forum goes unused? When someone has a reason to use it, they'll use it. There's no need to try to sustain it.

This is just like when comatose people are kept on life support when they really don't have a purpose anymore. Stupid vegetables... >:( I hate them so much...

Well there's a certain nostalgia that comes with creating the board and like most historical landmarks, be they public or personal, one tries to keep it from becoming obsolete and being replaced by some stupid capitalist teen trend.

i've been on this board when days could go by with no reply to threads. just because there's a lull doesn't mean it's dying.

JFTR, when did this board start?
It isn't 3 yrs old is it?
I remember first seeing a link to "fan AGI messageboard" on Brian's page in late 1999 but didn't get started till last year :)

I think this board came up in May 2001, but there were other message boards before. Basically this board came up just at the time that I was becoming interested in AGI, but I didn't know about it until some time later...
