how do you kickflip on a skateboard?

how do you kickflip on a skateboard? ??? :-\

good description please. also, maybe a heelflip, or some easy trick for begginer skateboarders. all i can do is ollie. i started boarding years ago, but stopped in between and gave up alot. anyway, im back into it and can still ollie. please help!!

EASY

position yourself with your back foot..(which ever is to your left) hanging off the back of the board slightly. Do an OLLIE and while in mid air, drag your foor back so that the board flips around.


Landing is your prefrence..

I prefer the heel flip to the kick flip... but that's just me... of course I love the dark shove it. >:D

and yes my board is a proper fishtail, and it has rails (walker chopsticks)... i dont like these new style boards with double tails, but board riding is all street now sigh. bring back vert!

smg, i can ollie alright. i can get the board to flip, but i usually land on the ground before the board. or the board isnt under my feet or something. ::) help on the landing?

which one is easier. heelflip or kickflip. which ever one is easier, post here how to do it please. i stink at boarding huh. well, i got into it years ago, but gave up, then got back into it, and you know. that kept happening. when i was into it, i didnt skate much, but now im gonna. but i wanna learn something besides an ollie. ::)

im working on a shove it and pop shove it. i can almost land it!!!! lol. ;D

A heel flip is the oposite of the kick flip. Basically instead of pushing your foot back you push it forward and it spins in the oposite direction.

As for a dark shove it... it is very hard to get the hang of, basically you do a backwards shovit behind you(you can't see the board since it is behind you... very good way to crash ).

Well you "know" how to do it, you just can't do it.

I think the heelflip is a bit harder to do than the kick flip... but for my cousin the heel flip is easier(but he is left handed... and rides on the oposite side... plus he can do dark shovits easily.).
