What OS do you use and why?

I use Arch Linux with i3 as wm.
Because for me it's faster than windows and better to configure, because you can do almost everything.

I use Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with Unity and KDE, in a Sony Vaio with Intel Pentium 2117U as processor (will change soon...)

Windows 8 is installed for, well, things that require Windows.

Pentium is able to run Unity and KDE?
