NEW Favorite Type of Music
Re:NEW Favorite Type of Music
Since NEARLY everyone posted in this thread, I'll give it a shot...
I don't know what the specific genre is (actually, people tend to call it "electronica", which is, IMHO, a crap term for it... But alternative, trip-hop, and other (rather) vague terms are also used...
More specific:
Propellerheads, Prodigy (not their recent single), Fatboy Slim, Orbital, R?yskopp, 4Hero, The Avalanches, some Daft Punk...
Further on, all kinds of other stuff... Like oldskool rap (yes, I said rap, and I DON'T mean anything including Ja Rule (either in the clip, or in the song, which, granted, is most (if not all) of today's rap))...

Ska is like fast Reggae. It can have some punk-influences too.

Re:NEW Favorite Type of Music
i love ska, ska rocks. ska predates reggae.
you have to understand there are several types of ska.
roots ska, ska-core, ska-oi!, ska-punk.
ska-punk is the **** thats around now. ska-oi is cool and grew from the uk skinhead scene (please dont confuse skins with neonazis, two different things!).
