I voted for Hard Core Rock, but only because it's the closest to wat I listen to which is most kinds of metal, especially progressive , doom, black, power, and neoclassical metal.
I don't like most of the American so-called metal, or nu-metal, like System of a Dawn, Slipknot, Korn, or the likes.

thats cool your in a band. i was in a little one. we basically played one song. iron man by ozzy. then a few weeks later, our drummer moved. so im not in one.

I voted 'other'.
Mainly I like electronic music. Like BT, Hybrid, Massive Attack, Kid Loco, Apoptygma Bezerk. Basically I like all the genres. I make my own music too, me and my female vocalist. Here's my band's website.
And by the way, I disagree that 'System of a Down' is jungle. Jungle music has a very distinct beat (2 step, tech, amen, etc), and the electric guitar is not an instrument that is normally heard in jungle.

heh heh. well i think its jungle nailey. do you play the guitar? i have a Gibson SG from like the 60's or 70's. my dad gave me it. it was a very happy moment. :'(

Yeah I play mostly classical guitars, I like the nylon strings better. Although I can play the electric but my main digs are in the keyboard/piano.

Do you know The Dill Brothers? I can't find any MP3 of them with Kazaa, but you can hear some of their songs on http://www.dill-brothers.com The 'open'-box at the bottom left has a playlist. They're no live songs, but it's still good (the band's made for live gigs, but due to the many requests, they've made two cd's.)
