Any AMIGA fans here?
Hello, any AMIGA fans here?what do you think of AROS?
Re: Any AMIGA fans here?
I like the Amiga a lot but perhaps not as much from a technical standpoint as for the nostalgic memories I get. If I had a budget for it Id buy the Amiga One x1000 just to have something to play around with. I have not tried AROS but I hear about it from time to time and it seems like it is doing descent progress. I remember Solar was a huge Amiga fan and he used to write som blog post about its internals but he seems to not be active here anymore.

Re: Any AMIGA fans here?
I never got an Amiga but I tested AROS and I liked it.
The source code seems to be good, at least it corresponds more or less to my style, and I'm considering to contriibute to it in the near future.
Now, to buy an Amiga, the things that refrain me are:
- It will make too much noise
- Amigas are cool to play video games but I don't play games since 2000.
- I don't know what to do with it that would be more difficult on a PC
