Anyone tried odroid?

I'm planing to get my next toy, I was thinking beagle but now I found odroid on google.

In their FAQ, they listed an interesting text that grab my attention:
Q. I am a platfrom/OS developer. What shoul I buy with ODROID-X?
So, I suppose they aware of os developer and pioneer in mind.

But I do not fully trust a web page, do anybody actually tried it and is it "usable" for os development?

From the outside, it looks like it's not any good on the documentation side of things, and the community is android-linux oriented so there's little help on our terrain to be gained from there.

Would prefer an Intel Atom for the performance, raspberry for price, and gba for being well documented at the hardware level.
