what's your kind of music?
Re: what's your kind of music?
Black metal: Immortal, Satyricon, Emperor, Behemoth, Darkthrone, Dark Funeral, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth ...
death metal: Death, Hypocrisy, In Flames, Cannibal Corpse, Bolt Thrower ...
thrash: Slayer, Sodom, early Metallica ...
these at most of time...
Lot of classic and hard rock, few gothic bands...
rarely - chart songs ... and others somehow connected with my past

Everything from Rotterdam's underground gabber/terrorcore to classical music
Almost every artist has one or two songs worth noticing in his/her discography.

Re: what's your kind of music?
Any and all types of music are appreciated by me except for modern pop.
I am allergic to those who do not write or compose their own music or do not have any talent what so ever.
One thing that I do is go through phases. My current Phase is liquid Drum and Bass (Graphix and Fred V) and Hard Core Drum and Base (I:Gor).

Re: what's your kind of music?
roaming the forums, so I might give this a shot.
let's see. My first love was what they call nu-metal. Though I would not call it that. It was Korn. Some Deftones. Recently I'm feeling in love with Deftones. I also listen to their vocalists other bands - Team Sleep, Crosses. What else. Tool, Meshuggah, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Botch, Dream Theater, Muse. Going into electronica - Aphex Twin and his other aliases, Squarepusher, Bong Ra. People tend to love or hate dubstep these days. Maybe I should say brostep, cus what was dubstep, sounds differently. I enjoy both the new brostep and the old dubstep. Skream in particular. (Proggressive) House artists - DJ Tomcraft, Deadmau5. Hip-hop - Nujabes, DJ Shadow, Mos Def, DJ Krush, Shing02, Aesop Rock. Trip-hop - Massive Attack, Tricky. Dub - Thievery corporation. I absolutely love Kenji Kawai's soundtrack's to Ghost in the Shell (: Innocence) and The Sky Crawlers.
Well, that's what was at the top of my head right now.

i listen to a lot of different stuff from classical (especially vivaldi) to metal and almost everything in between... but my favorite has always been older Genesis, before they turned into a boring pop act. i love prog rock in general.
