I'm comfortable at the command line. I'm not scared of editing various and sundry config files to get some extra feature. I'm running a custom-compiled kernel rather than the Ubuntu default. But when I'm doing something basic like web-browsing, or writing up a paper, or playing a game, I don't want to have to put on my sysadmin hat to make it work.
