Re: Personal Interests?
Writing, gaming, and guitar, all with a dash of tweaking with computers (such as the new dev/gaming laptop coming in tomorrow and the new server coming in sometime this week).

I wanted to try Bungee Jumping but couldn't gather enough courage. You go for it and you feel like approaching the hell.
Programming is not about using a language to solve a problem, it's about using logic to find a solution !

Re: Personal Interests?
I spent three years with an unlimited entry card for the local (former) Six Flags theme park. It was fun at first, but later the most fun was provided by bringing others and enjoy watching them.Chandra wrote:You go for it and you feel like approaching the hell.
I so should have pulled off the chess thing in Goliath while I had the chance.
Re: Personal Interests?
To begin, I'm a student attending the last grade (its the 13th in G9 in Germany) in high school, so classes and A level preparation takes a majority of time, but still I almost always find some time to squeeze things in the schedule.
Besides programming and the coffee thing (I never actually tried if my body could function without it), I'm doing quite a lot of music, actively playing the saxophone and clarinet in a local bigband and singing bass in two local choirs.
My interest in science does not stop at the borders of computer science, although I definitetly spend most of my time and effort on that. I'm like reading every paper on physics, mathematics and sometimes biology I can get my hands on, but I realize that I'm not spending enough time neither of them to actually become really good at them; I realize though, that the mathematical thinking did have huge impacts on my way to think and to see the world.
Additionally, I watch a lot of TV serials, including, but not limited to, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Firefly, Monk, Fringe, Lie to Me, How I Met Your Mother and StarTrek Enterprise. A friend of mine is currently trying to convince me to give My Little Pony a shot (as NickJohnson already pointed out, its far better than it sounds).

I happen to speak fluent portugese and have interest in learning other languages as time permits I like taking candid pictures of events and such always good for a laugh
I am generally amicable and most of all around these parts of the internet enjoy reading the sparc section of the wiki and helping out when I see something and I am like "I know this!" .

Re: Personal Interests?
I do Micro-electronics for a living so i am not sure if i can call electronics a hobby any longer.
Besides that i like gaming in all forms, i collect RPG systems/books.
I like to draw and make music be it on the electronic organ i have here or on my gitar.
I read a lot of manga's and art books i have plenty off on my book shelve, besides that i also have several technical books on ranging from C++ and analog Electronics to Metalworking and Chemistry.
I also still model build, i still prefer plastic over resin, for base coat i use the same paint i use on wargame figures.
Besides this all i still go to school and follow a study in Mechatronic's.

Re: Personal Interests?
I am a proud member of the RAF Air Cadets, 1359 Beeston Sqn. This comprises a lot of my main interests, including (but not limited to) flying and gliding, shooting (semi automatics ^^), DofE, swimming, sport, etc etc etc.
Outside of that, I play the drums, used to be in a band, but not any more, playing on the 360 (not much time for that nowadays...), theoretical physics, and (hopefully, one day) setting up my own software company. With any luck, Xero MaLux will be the flagship product for my company. (Or, keep dreaming Connor, ain't never gonna happen...)
