Many years later we got a little more realistic and grabbed some bats and adapted with our problems.

Then again, this isnt a movie.

I think economic disaster will only last for few years. Then things will start to improve. Gradually, we'll have more resources to use. To be honest, I really believe that the world will get better in few years, probably better than now.

As a Canadian I'd hate to be blamed for the actions of the other members of this continent, such an event would have to be alien in origin.. if we're only theorizing here, they must have really shitty targeting software.
