Free present, for a reason

Post by VolTeK »

So today i received a netbook. It had been my brothers and he gave me it, apparently its one of the first prototypes of its model and it wasnt working, so he decided to give it to me in trade for some equipment i didnt need. Well its os image is missing, windows ce 5. On a nand (or rand?) disk ive been looking all over on how i can achieve putting an os back on this arm processor device. No luck however. Any ideas?

What options do you have, in terms of how you can boot something on it? What interface does the disk use? Is is widely supported? If so, you could probably get an adaptor of some sort to connect it to your x86 computer so as to write an OS(Android) to it.
