PCI Article Updated

Post by 54616E6E6572 »

I just finished adding to major sections to the PCI article, and will continue adding more to it over the next few weeks. I would appreciate feedback on it as I am no the greatest article writer . I will also update this as I go along with the changes I have made, as they will be pretty extensive. Finally, any requests on information you would like to see in the article would be appreciated and I will try to fit them in.

Changes thus far:
* Added section describing the Command and Status registers.
* Added section describing the Class Code fields.
* Added section describing the Configuration Space registers.
* Updated the Base Address Register (BAR) section with information pertaining to 16-bit and 64-bit BARs.

Haven't taken a look at it, but thanks for the addition. Don't be put off by the lack of response here!
