Vancouver, BC, Canada [split from 'OS-Portable Installer']

All off topic discussions go here. Everything from the funny thing your cat did to your favorite tv shows. Non-programming computer questions are ok too.

Yeah, and I'm a Canucks fan too! :)

OFFTOPIC: what do you suppose they're going to do to Vancouver's downtown east side (massive ghetto/drugs/crap) for 2010? I propose a glass dome. Think "The Simpsons Movie" here.

I think we set a new record for fastest topic split...

Yeah, that's a pretty scary place. So is the SkyTrain, but we can't just blow that up, that would screw the entire Metro Vancouver area over massively.

*plots world domination*

I'm actually planning on moving to Vancouver once I get out of high school... I'm hoping to go to BCIT or UBC, probably going to take some programming and business courses :)

SFU Comp Sci FTW!!
Top three reasons why my OS project died:
  1. Too much overtime at work
  2. Got married
  3. My brain got stuck in an infinite loop while trying to design the memory manager
Don't let this happen to you!

At least four of us, eh? :D

BTW: We're allowed to over-abuse "eh" because we _are_ Canadian, hehehe...

I am a Canadian by birth, and I dislike stereotypes.

Hockey sucks.
Colloquialisms suck.
Krypton sucks.

I'm Canadian, it says so on my birth certificate.. that's what defines citizenship, not my likes or dislikes.
