Ok, I'm probably going to be yelled at for asking this question, but I've been through many google searches for "AMD Athlon XP 1700+" processor manuals many times, and have turned up nothing useful. I did get to the AMD support website and find a pdf document containing some good information on voltage and heating specs, but I need the actual manual.
What I'm planning on doing next is going to Amazon.com, to see if I can buy a manual or something.(But I have no money, so if there's some way to get the manual for free, That would be great.) If not, do you think that the place where I bought the computer might have a manual on the processor, even though I bought it almost five years ago? If they did, would they give it to me for free? It was already old when I bought the computer, too, at a refurbished pc's place.
Just wondering. Any tips you guys might have on how to acquire said manual, "AMD Athlon XP 1700+", would be great.

Thank you so much, combuster. I owe you big time. (though I am a little embarrassed that I was so close url-wise... grumble)

You may also want to take a look at the Intel Manuals. I've found that they are better organized than the AMD versions. For vendor specific features (3DNow!, MMX Extensions, SSE5, etc.) you will of course want to look at that vendor's manual.
