"Do you program in Assembly?" she asked. "NOP," he said.

Electro.
Late of the Pier, The Whip, Van She, The Presets, Klaxons, Justice, Metronomy, Soulwax, etc. etc.
Most of these are relatively new groups.

Re: what's your kind of music?
Hmm...
Some Drum & Bass, Vocal Trance and such, Alt Rock, Electro Rock (Pendulum FTW!), Some metal, J-Rock, J-Pop, some orchestral, and anything with a "soundtracky" vibe (Hybrid FTW also!), and some "Eurobeat" stuff.
I like quite a large selection - just not all at once
Current songs of the moment:
[Electro Rock] Pendulum - Other Side
[J-Pop] Eiko Shimamiya - Superscription of data
[J-Rock] move - DOGFIGHT
[Eurobeat] Dave Rodgers - Beat of the Rising Sun
[Soundtrack] Craig Armstrong - Amber; Craig Armstrong Feat Mogwai - Miracle
[Misc] Komm, Susser Tod
I guess you could say I'm going through an electronicy phase. With Komm, Suser Tod being the odd exception, a slow, cheery ballad... about committing suicide.

Re: what's your kind of music?
Rock. Classic rock. Hard rock. Sometimes a bit of alt rock too.
AC/DC, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Guns N' Roses, Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, The Who, etc.
I could keep going, but at that point I might as well post screenshots of my Music folder
EDIT: Oh, and Queen. Can't forget the Queen.

well, what to say, to much to do in too little space.
when it goes up hill, increase work, when it goes straight, test yourself but when going down, slow down.

Everything from House to Strauss will do. Rather, I restrict my collection to the creative and unique samples (and I'm rather demanding in that aspect).
I once managed to earn a reputation of hating electric guitars, after repeatedly cracking down a series of metal songs that I described as instrumental torture (dont ask, it includes your favorites ).
