Coincidence?

All off topic discussions go here. Everything from the funny thing your cat did to your favorite tv shows. Non-programming computer questions are ok too.

Coincidence?

Anyone every heard of that Xen project that is getting pretty big? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xen

well I was freaking curious to know if these two had some correlation and if some OS announced here actually did makeit in a way..

Then though, I found this dead SF project http://sourceforge.net/projects/xenos-vm So, I figure it was some other person and had nothign to do with it..

but still. it is interesting that two people with nearly exact ideas named their OS almost the exact same thing... Maybe it's no coincidence and the creator of Xen was skiming along somewhere and looked and thought it would be neat and pursued it, and stole a bit of it's name..

idk.. freaking weird though lol

From the wikipedia article:
The first public release of Xen was made available in 2003.
Zenos-vm was posted in 2004.
