well, i've forgot rm mountpoint in a script, so, i've got all files deleted
it's a ext2 partition, currently with *nothing* on it.
i've searched on google, but i've found nothing(good). only ****(TM), for windowz. some linux things like e2undel doesn't compile, some other doesn't work, etc.
if you know a good tool for that, you're welcome.
thanks,
eddyb.
ext2 undelete
Re: ext2 undelete
if i can't find nothing, i'll format the partition...
Re: ext2 undelete
Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.
Re: ext2 undelete
well, i saw it before, but it's not what i need.. i have not a single(or two-three) file to recover, i have *over a thousand* and i need the name for everyone.Solar wrote:http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Ext2fs-Undeletion.html
The best I could find, given one minute of google...
i've found some quick linux recovery tool, and it's very good, but needs a license..
EDIT: trying to use that recovery tool to get a log with inodes and their names
Re: ext2 undelete
nothing... my partition is dead. cry and overwrite it
